Canon EOS R5 Specs Leak suggests Zebra Peaking Feature: Best for Videographers

News Desk, Time for a DSLR / 23 Apr 2020: Something that is there and still not there, don’t you think, it is far more exciting than anything else in the world? Well, this is no ghost story? I am talking about the much talked about Canon EOS R5 camera. Yes, this is already popular and much talked of. But still, it has not been officially launched! Canon is yet to come up with the release date of the camera, the complete spec sheet and the official price.

What the leaks suggest about much awaited Canon EOS R5?

Even though Canon has guarded the information about this new beast to a greater extent, the rumors that are taking rounds indicate that, the outer body is similar to Canon EOS R. But this camera seems to be quite different from the intrinsic properties. The problems that EOS R had, seems to get resolved with this new model R5. This would be a mirrorless all-rounder and would surely create curiosity among videographers and YouTubers. It was supposed to get launched in summer 2020. But with this Pandemic issue on the head, it seems that the launch will be delayed a bit!

Leaks suggest that R5 will be equipped with an important feature called as Zebra peaking. This seems to be the best feature for videographers. It is also believed that the camera will also be able to process 8K video into high quality 4K video. It is also rumored that this will be the very first Canon camera with IBIS body.

The leaks came from hands-on video which was spotted by Canon News, but Canon requested to make this video a private one later. This camera hasn’t come in anyone’s hands yet and the features are still being demonstrated and experimented. The official announcement is yet to come over the features and the other details of Canon EOS R5 but it doesn’t seem to be anytime soon as of now!

We also got the news that Canon EOS R6 is also supposed to launch in May.  So, will there be a dual announcement of Canon EOS R5 and R6?

Yes guys! Let’s guess the date when these horses will be ready for the ride! Any wild guesses? May be by the mid-week or end of May?
