Why is fireworks photography challenging and interesting?

Since the source of light is the fireworks itself you need not rely on the flash. I recommend that long exposures should be used while taking the photographs so that the quality of the image is good. Using a good tripod here will make sense because if not, then camera shake will make the image look shaky. The best part is that there is no need for extra light or artificial light when you are doing fireworks photography.

Best 3 tips for photographing fireworks

If you are looking forward to have perfect fireworks photography then I recommend you a few tips which will be useful for you!

1. Come a bit early on the spot

If you wish to get the entire picture correct then it would be better to be on time or may be bit before time. Check the location and find which would be the right place to take the relevant clicks. You should identify the place of fireworks well and then think how the composition of the image would be like! If the scene has to be given some effect then just think what it would be!

2. Camera settings for fireworks photography

There’s a trick that I will be sharing with you for taking these photographs! So, rather than setting the auto shutter speed you can switch over to bulb mode. You should then control the shutter settings. But for bulb mode, you will have to turn on the manual mode of your camera. Choose the low ISO first may be 100 or 200 and that would be good enough for fireworks photography. You should start with an aperture of f/11 and then once you start shooting, you can adjust the same as needed. As far as focus is concerned you will have to use the manual focus.

3. Shoot in RAW
