Best 5 Tips for Summer Photography with DSLR

1. Find the golden hour for magical results

Every day is a special day but summers are best for the photographers who really love golden hues. In fact, this is the best time for portraits and landscape images. For a creative photographer, it would be important to find the golden hour of the day. In fact, most of the times it would be the time just after sun rises and a bit before the sun sets. These are supposed to be ideal times and the natural colors and hues would come out to make the image look mind boggling! So, I would suggest that you find the golden hour of the day to dedicate that time to photography!

2. Take up Monochrome shooting

For summers, I would suggest that you shoot using Monochrome. Well, those who really want to try all the means would feel that why to restrict to monochrome shooting style? Well, with this will help in getting the perfect colors and look for the image. You should set Picture Style in your camera and then select Monochrome Shooting. In fact, you can even catch flares while on the image taking moods. This would enhance the feel of the photograph!

3. Experiment with the different focal length

Doing things out of your comfort zone can literally be a great idea because that will push you towards the creative limits and perhaps you will come out as a better photographer! I personally like the photography style of Late Mr Henri Cartier Bresson.  His genre was street photography! When I say that you should try and experiment with the different focal length, here I mean that it will force you to first create or visualize an image in your mind before you actually shoot the same. In fact, many a times, my favorite Mr. Henri did this and he also advocated this.

4. Move around to find what would like to snap on

You have to move around like a free buffalo and perhaps this will help you to discover things. By doing that, you will come across many places, subjects, locations etc that would be amazing to click. Joshua Day is also one of the leading photographers who is a popular photographer covering amazing pictures including summer and street photography. So, my personal suggestion is that don’t get scared to move around like nomads. This is because the best discoveries are on their way!
