Sony Announces V6 Firmware for Venice and lots of Innovative Camera Solutions
News Desk, Time for a DSLR/1st May 2020: Just yesterday, we had posted news on the newly registered Sony’s Cine Gear and we also told you to keep an eye on the news so that you don’t miss Sony’s new innovational technology in the field of imaging. Here we are, as per our promise to provide you with lots of good news from Sony!
So, here’s the first one for you. Sony has announced V6 firmware for Venice. This is going to work for the Venice Digital Cinema Camera. Mostly, the release date of the firmware is after November. With this firmware there would be addition of following features for the camera.
- HFR added
- 3D LUT support in VF
- Advanced Rendering Transform (new LUT system)
- Gyro Tilt/Roll info stored as metadata (X-OCN & XAVC)
- Genlock & Timecode Status on OSD
- Fujinon Premista eXtended metadata
- De-Squeeze ON/OFF can be assigned to a User Button
- Maintain CamID+Reel# when loading ALL FILE
- REC beep and ALARM volume now have individual settings
- 2nd User Frame Line
- New 9:16 & 1:1 Frame Lines
Apart from the V6 firmware for Venice, the company has also announced upgrades for 4K HDR professional monitors. The target of Sony is to enhance technology at every level and provide better level of transformation for creative and post production tasks.
Sony will also come up with amazing camera line, XDCAM Disc Drive and camera remotes. Also, the PXW-Z190 and PXW-Z280 4K handheld camcorders will get live streaming capabilities and also the facility to upload live video on various platforms. So, cheer up videographers!
